  • Musical Style: They blended reggae, soul, funk, calypso, and traditional Kriol and Garifuna rhythms, dominating the airwaves in Belize and the Caribbean throughout the 1970s and 1980s. [1, 2, 3, 4]

  • Legacy: Frontman Dell Smart became renowned for his unique, silky alto vocal style. Their notable output includes original tracks and covers like "Am True," "Tears on My Pillow," and producing "Conch Soup," which later inspired Banda Blanca's international hit "Sopa de Caracol". Their history is chronicled in the autobiographical book The Pride of Belize by Filbert Smart.
